You can make today a better day

Don’t let the day make you. You can make the day.

Today isn’t fixed, set, immovable. You can change it, mold it, move it.

Yes, you can’t manipulate time. It’s immovable–unstoppable.

But you can start to arrange how you spend your time.

What you do with your hours, minutes, and seconds is in your hands, sitting in your fingertips, ready to be molded, made.

You’re not a captive to your circumstances; you’re a captain of your time.

What will you do? How will you spend it? Or better yet, how will you invest it?

You are allocating your time to the activities you do, the people you see, the habits you form. They all require time to keep them going. You may not even be aware that you sacrifice minutes, hours, days, months, years, a lifetime.

Should you invest in those things? If not, you can change that, today, now.

And what about your thoughts?

Are you always worrying, stressing, angry? Does the murky future consume your mind? Or are you focusing on the small things you can do right now to reach a larger goal? If not, you can.

You should.

Today isn’t a battle to be fought but an opportunity to be taken.

Every moment is another chance to do something differently, better. Those moments are yours.

Revel in them. Celebrate them.

Make them.

That’s my thank you face

Remember, you don’t improve without improving your thinking.

You don’t have to be a billionaire to feel rich.

You don’t have to be popular to feel loved.

You don’t have to get awards to feel successful.

Success starts in between your ears. And it’s not just about what you think. It’s about how you think.

It’s not just about thinking better thoughts. It’s about thinking thoughts better.

That’s why I write.
